The Victory of the Cross

As Jesus washed their feet, He was passing a message to them. He was being given over to be killed, but more He was going to the Father. The disciples seemed unaware of the happenings
They forsook Him and left.
The disciples did not understand what was about to fall on Jesus. They would later leave Him alone and flee. But God doesn’t forsake them that He loves. Jesus endured the shame, the loneliness of His suffering so that we can receive the love of the Father. We would not have done better than the disciples; it’s clearly the depiction of our shortcomings. Yet God loves us.
We sometimes may not understand the reason for the pain, yet we must remain connected all the times.
God gives us peace in those challenges, He strengthens us to overcome. We must become dependent on the Holy Spirit. He will cause us triumph and overcome every situation of life.
On the cross of Jesus, it did not seem like victory anyway, but it is actually is the foundation of our hope. There was a priceless happening.
We should walk with the truth of God’s forgiveness and the conviction that our lives are at peace with God.
No longer again should we walk in shame for the blood of Christ has set us free.
1 John 1:9
We can’t say that we are sinless, we need the Lord’s mercies in our lives.
Walk in the confidence of God’s forgiveness and the love with which He has loved us with.
There is hope for us in those trials and challenges of life, we must learn to accept what God allows in our lives. He has a reason for our pain and no matter what we face, we must hold on to our God.
God chastens those whom He loves. The judgments of God are righteous and whom He loves He chastens. We have been reconciled to God through the work of Christ on the Cross.

The Lord demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.   Romans 5:8 (NKJV)

The starting may not matter, the end is what really matters, and it’s not yet over, we must press on until the journey is over.
Our shame, failures, and sins have been covered in the blood of Jesus.
1 John 3:16
Show our love for one another as Christ has loved us.
Isaiah 53:1-
He bore our sorrows, He carried our shame, and Jesus laid His life for us. He chose to do it, He accepted this painful way.
Jesus knows our pains, understands our very situations, and He wants us to endure and overcome till the end.
We can’t build our own faith, we can’t stand it alone, and we need God to be our guide. The Holy Spirit of God is the source of that inner conviction that sources us to accept God’s touch.
Jesus did not choose another way, He stood strong and let Himself go through the pain. He did not consider it hard to Himself, nor did He think that it was too much for Him to bear.
The same Love and compassion should encompass our hearts and make us walk in such a victorious life.
Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and empower our lives so that we can stand and overcome. It is the mercies of God that we need, in this time of God’s mercy, we shouldn’t run anymore from our God.
